Sreenath Aravind is a Professional Indian Cricketer. He was born on 8th April 1984 in Bangalore, Karnataka. He is a left arm medium fast bowler and a left handed lower order batsman. Aravind plays for Karnataka in the first class level and has been playing amazingly well for the Royal challengers Bangalore in the IPL at the 2011 season. The major teams that he has been part of include Karnataka, Mangalore United and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
His first class debut was against Saurashtra on 26th December, 2008. Aravind is a booming Indian fast bowler trying to make his way towards the Indian National side with his consistent performance at the first class level playing a wonderful show in the current IPL season where his team Royal Challengers Bangalore were one of the table toppers.
Sreenath Aravind is capable of taking the ball away from the right handed batsman which makes him a more lethal bowler. Senior bowlers like Zaheer khan and Daniel Vettori who have been mighty successful at the International level are helping him to master his skills and grow as a better bowler.
In the 24 matches that he played till date, he has managed to pick up 30 wickets with the best figures of 4 for 14 runs against Kings XI Punjab in IPL 2011. If he continues to perform well regularly then soon he might be finding himself in the National Squad.
